One of these changes is that from now on all new boards must be placed into a Team. There are a lot of small changes we need to make (and some big ones) to get there but you can imagine the end state as all boards are in a workspace (and a workspace is essentially what we call a Team today). Trello is moving to a model () where you can think of Teams as “workspaces” and all boards will eventually be in a Workspace-be that a business workspace, a home workspace, a book club workspace, etc. Hi There! We appreciate your honest feedback. It is still a good function tool, but Atlassian/Trello is unnecessarily complicating the user’s administration. The fact is they have removed a useful function and users in community discussions are not pleased. Yes, yes, Atlassian/Trello will deflect by hoping you will be lost in the noise when they respond to complaints by repeating useless team and board administrative strategies. So your membership that states you have unlimited boards doesn’t really include unlimited boards. Any team wanting more than 10 boards is required to purchase an additional subscription. There used to be a “No Team” option, but not any more. Atlassian/Trello are making all users group their boards within user defined teams. Users (including paying users) are no longer allowed to have personal private boards. There has been a recent change to the operation of Trello that has me concerned for the future. Within the last year or so Trello has become administered by Atlassian. I’ve been a paying user of Trello since 2012.
